In 1997 I started shooting competitive IPSC and 3 gun, but in 2002 I discovered Sporting Clay's, and it quickly turned into an obsession. I was lucky enough to shoot with the legendary Jon Kruger at my first big tournament, and it wasn't long after, that I was training with Jon for several years. I've shot several hundred thousand rounds perfecting my shooting and every chance I've had competing at Sporting Clay's events all over the country. I have used my background as a NSCA Master class shooter, NSCA certified instructor, certified dog trial gunner, and director of a psychiatric treatment center to teach the psychology of shooting and performing while under the pressures of competition and the excitement of shooting in the field.

I have been shooting sporting clays for twenty years and one of the best choices I made was getting lessons very early on in my career from the legendary Jon Kruger.
I've spent a great deal of time perfecting a style of shooting that excels in any type of situation, from Sporting Clays, to Five Stand, FITASC, Skeet, and even live bird shooting. Minimizing gun movement and allowing your eyes to guide the gun will simply put more X's on your score card. In addition to the mechanics, I have learned to apply my background as director of a psychiatric treatment center to create a sound mental game and a preshot routine that can tie it all together. Regardless of your pursuit in shooting we can tailor lessons to meet your needs.
Having come from a professional athletic background and having many coaches, it is generally accepted that there are instructors and there are athletes.
